Managing Attorney
We're hiring at AID Arkansas. The full job description is here.
We're looking for a Managing Attorney to join our Northwest Arkansas team — someone who wants to spend their days fighting for immigrant kids, families, and survivors of trafficking and abuse.
Here's what the work looks like. You'll carry a caseload of SIJS petitions, T Visas, U Visas, VAWA self-petitions, asylum, and 601 waivers. You'll supervise one attorney plus our DOJ-accredited representatives and paralegals. Some days you'll be coach your supervisees. Some days you'll be on the phone with a financial counselor trying to get a twelve-year-old survivor into a Medicaid-funded surgery. Some days you'll be walking a teenager through her first court appearance.
Prior immigration experience is preferred but not required — I will train the right person and send them to conferences for more training. What I can't train is the willingness to come in every day, set the standard, and go to bat for families who have very little margin for error.
Five+ years of legal experience preferred. Spanish a plus. Big, warm heart required.
$70K–$105K, fully paid health/dental/vision premiums, fully paid short- and long-term disability, 3.8 weeks PTO. Four days in office, Fridays optionally remote.
If you know someone — a friend leaving a firm, a public defender ready for a new chapter, a recent grad with real fire — please send them my way. Or tag them below.
